Role & Responsibilities

  1. The candidate should have sound working knowledge of banking law and should have practice in particular Banking Regulations Act, and “Know Your customer and Anti Money Laundering Guidelines of RBI”.
  2. He / she should be in a position to independently handle retail branch banking queries and provide inputs for launching of Retail products.
  3. Should possess working knowledge and experience in replying to legal notices and claims for compensation under the Consumer Protection Act.
  4. Have knowledge of vetting of Annual Maintenance Contracts, Service Level Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements, Loan Agreements, etc.
  5. The incumbent needs to have computer proficiency and excellent communication and drafting skills.

Qualifications
The incumbent should be a LLB or LLM with at least 5 to 7 years of post qualification experience in legal department preferably with banking experience.
