Role & Responsibilities

  1. The candidate would be in charge of financial control function including taxation, which included finalisation of balance sheet and final accounts. Also involved in setting up the Audit system with the help of functional experts from various departments.
  2. Setting up the accounting system, budgeting process, MIS and various compliance functions relating to Reserve Bank of India.
  3. In charge of Audit and Inspection system, including reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board (ACB), co-ordination with branches for setting up of concurrent audit system, co-ordination of concurrent audit functions.
  4. Incharge of the Inspection & Audit Department (internal audit and management audit system).
  5. Incharge of Audit & Inspection function as well as Compliance function, both internal and external.
  6. Setting up and implementation of Credit Audit.
  7. Implementation of the Information Security policy along with the Information Security Officer.
  8. Implementation of Risk Based Internal Audit.
  9. Reviewing market risk function and understanding risk controls and monitoring tools.
  10. Should possess a good understanding of the customization of various products for different customers and the relevant controls.

Qualifications
The incumbent should be a CA with at least 15 years of post qualification experience in the audit & compliance department preferably with a bank.
